Fridge Ghost Privacy Policy

Fridge Ghost is a single-player iPhone game that helps you build a streak of nights without ordering food delivery. The game’s mascot, a dumpling named Lefto, lives in your fridge and reacts to your check-ins. This policy describes what the app stores, what it does not collect, and how Apple’s Screen Time and subscription systems are involved.

Summary

• Fridge Ghost has no backend and does not operate its own accounts or servers.
• Game progress and settings stay on your device (and in an App Group shared with Fridge Ghost’s Screen Time extensions).
• Optional Screen Time / Family Controls features use Apple system APIs. Fridge Ghost does not read or upload your installed-app list or delivery-app bundle IDs.
• A Super subscription is required to use Fridge Ghost after onboarding. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through StoreKit / App Store.

Information stored on your device

Fridge Ghost stores gameplay and preference data locally, primarily in the App Group group.com.getlefto.app, including items such as:

• Onboarding answers (for example weekly delivery nights, average order amount, and goal)
• Display name / mascot preferences you choose
• Streak, hearts, XP/level, saved-money estimates, and related game state
• Whether Super / streak-freeze state is active in the game UI
• If you use Screen Time features: an opaque Family Controls selection token (not human-readable app names or bundle IDs)

This information is used only to run the game and optional delivery-app shields on your device. Fridge Ghost does not sell personal information and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

Screen Time and Family Controls

If you grant Screen Time permission, Fridge Ghost can request authorization for individual (personal) use and let you pick apps or categories through Apple’s Family Activity picker. Shields and schedules are applied with Apple’s Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks.

• Fridge Ghost stores opaque selection tokens when persistence is available; it does not log ApplicationToken values or try to infer bundle IDs.
• Authorization can be denied or unavailable. The game still works without Screen Time.
• You can change or revoke Screen Time permission in iOS Settings. Removing Fridge Ghost also removes its on-device shields.

Subscriptions (Super)

An active Super subscription is required to use Fridge Ghost after onboarding. Auto-renewable subscriptions (lefto.super.monthly and lefto.super.yearly) are purchased through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit. Apple processes payment, stores purchase receipts, and provides entitlement status to the app.

• Fridge Ghost does not receive your full payment card details.
• Manage or cancel Super in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or App Store account subscriptions).
• Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

Accounts and data deletion

Fridge Ghost does not create user accounts on a Fridge Ghost server. There is no Fridge Ghost cloud profile to delete.

• Delete on-device game data: use Reset game progress in Fridge Ghost Settings (clears local game state), or delete the app from your iPhone.
• Screen Time selection: clear or change the Family Activity selection in Fridge Ghost Settings, or revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings.
• Subscriptions: cancel Super with Apple as described above. Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

What we do not collect

• No Fridge Ghost-operated analytics backend
• No advertising identifiers / ATT tracking for cross-app tracking
• No contact book, precise location, or health data collection by Fridge Ghost
• No uploading of your Family Activity selection or delivery-app inventory to Fridge Ghost servers (Fridge Ghost has none)

Children

Fridge Ghost is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13. Screen Time features may interact with device restrictions set by a parent or guardian on the device.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of Fridge Ghost after an update means you accept the revised policy.
